Roller Boogie (1979)

If you now me, you know my love for Roller Boogie.  Mostly shot in Venice Beach, not a whole lot has changed, Bobby James!

As promised, the Roller Boogie rink!

  1. Hey, wasn't sure if you knew of this one as I haven't seen elsewhere on the net, but the exterior of the roller rink toward the beginning of the film where Bobby James "saves" Terry from CC Conway was shot at the Moonlight Rollerway at 5110 San Fernando Rd, Glendale, CA. I haven't been in (even though I live down the road in Los Feliz), so not sure if the interior was used. Just thought I would let you know for fun.

    1. Actually, I was there a couple years ago, but haven't updated my locations for this one yet, thanks for the reminder!

  2. Is the house and pool where Theresa played her concert, the same house and pool the video for the song 'Magic' by The Cars is shot? It looks like the same house and pool.

  4. Hi there, I was going to let you know the address of Lana's house in the movie. It was located at 163 S Rockingham Avenue in Brentwood. It was comedienne Phyllis Diller's home. Sadly, it was sold in 2012 when she passed and has been demolished.
