Brian DePalma has made some classics (
Carrie), some solid thrillers (Blow Out), and some big stinkers.... like Raising Cain. Doing his best to over-imitate Hitchcock, this film is doubly worsened by a bad script and bad acting by everyone. Nonetheless, while in the San Jose area, I decided to check out a couple locations.
First up, is a scene that used a dizzying steadicam to follow the actors through the city hall building....

The "climactic" finale is set at a motel that has a few renovations since the film was made, but essentially the same...
