Carrie (1976) new & revisited

Carrie is a masterpiece that should not have been remade, although it looks like they are going down that path again.   I've been to some locations before... click on the links to see the high school, pig farm, and the track & field.

This trip was my first visit to the location of Carrie's house... or rather where it was before it was bulldozed.   The houses next to it are the same and the owner  a couple doors down has some of the doors from the original house and was kind of enough to let me take some pictures....

The neighbor a couple houses down actually took a couple doors from Carrie's house before it was demolished...

Also in Santa Paula is the tree lined street where Carrie is taunted by a boy on a bike...
