Friday the 13th Part III in 3-D (1982)

Check out the all new locations page for FRIDAY THE 13TH PART III at Set-Jetter.com!

Growing up, the Friday the 13th films was a series I dreaded hearing about, and later learned to love.    I actually saw them in random order.  I saw Part 4 first, then 1 and 2, and then finally Part 3.   I so wish I could have seen it in it's true 3D format.  Below are some links to my visits to other locales in the series:
Friday the 13th Part IV: The Final Chapter
Friday the 13th Part V: A New Beginning
Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood
Jason Goes To Hell: The Final Friday

Here is the convenience store where a couple of characters run into some no-good bikers.  The interiors have changed quite a bit, unsurprisingly....

The outside is mostly the same....

UPDATE October 2013:   Thanks to a reader at the Goin' To Camp Blood, Ain'tcha? group, the site of Harold & Edna's store has been found!   Well, kind of, it's not there any more unfortunately.  Although I had perused this area before via Google maps, I moved on since I saw no building there.   So first up, here is a shot of where the store once stood...

Now, if you look to the immediate right of the store, there is a small stone fence, which is still there....

And for the purists, here is a comparison shot using the best I could do to blow it up via the bluray copy.   The left side of the fence has crumbled away, but if you look at the right side of both shots, you can see it's a perfect match....

Also looking very much the same is the reverse shot up the driveway....

And some other shots looking up the hill...
