Twilight Zone: The Movie (1983)

Check out the all new Twilight Zone: The Movie page at Set-Jetter.com

Twilight Zone: The Movie  was doomed before its release due to the death of three people on the set.  I'm actually surprised the sequence is even still in the movie.    While doing my latest location visits, I decided to check out a couple places where they shot the film.

First up is the Halfway House Diner, which appears in numerous productions.  Here is where Kathleen Quinlan runs into the little boy, Jeremy,  with her car....

Next up is Jeremy's house, which I initially thought was a facade built for the film for it's cartoonish look, but actually exists!

For the old folks segment, the production shot in Piru.   The Sunnyvale home is a historical building in the small town...

Scatman Crothers goes to visit a second home in the film, which is actually just a block behind the original home in reality.     Astute viewers will recognize the church across the street from many other films and shows.

  1. Wow! This is amazing!! I've been looking for these locations for years and years and years, and no one has ever been able to pinpoint the locations. I was beginning to think that most including the Sunnyvale Rest Home were studio bound. If I searched for the Twilight Zone locations it would only come up with the John Landis segment. Thank you so much for posting them. How did you find them in the first place? I'm pretty damn impressed that you found Anthony's house. I too thought that was a set!!! Best, Paul

    1. Most of the locations are up in Piru, California, right off Main Street. Anthony's house is up in Granada Hills at 17410 Mayerling Street.

    1. Yes, it is at 15238 Victory Blvd. I have taken photos of it a while ago, but not updated it on this page yet.
