Check out the new RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD PART II page at SET-JETTER.COM
The original Return of the Living Dead is a great little film, the follow up.... not so much. But it's worth a Saturday morning watch.
The first part of the opening credits shows military vehicles running through a very familiar part of Sierra Madre used in Halloween II and Halloween III.

Next, the trucks go over the Piru bridge....

Then, we are off to a suburban circle of houses, some that were still being built at the time of filming....

Then back to Sierra Madre for the street down to the police station...

UPDATE June 2014: During a return visit to Sierra Madre, I decided to finish out some of the other locations. First up is grandma's house, which is also seen in the background in a scene from Better Off Dead....

Next is the back alley where some soldiers shoot up zombies...

The same alley is featured in this shot later...
