While certainly a fan of the original Poltergeist (see locations here) and somewhat of Poltergeist II (locations here and here), the third entry was a bit of a letdown, plus it had an even darker cloud over it with the death of its lead actress, Heather O'Rourke. I do give them kudos to try to do this one without any optical effects, some working better than others. The film was shot in Chicago and although I had been to the Hancock Tower before, I didn't track down any other locations until my latest visit.

Finding Carol Anne's school was a bit of a tough find, since it's not even a school and there was essentially just a couple shots to use as reference, but I figured it out!
