Deadly Friend (1986)

Check out the all new page for DEADLY FRIEND at SET-JETTER.COM

ORIGINAL BLOG:

His feature film follow up to A Nightmare On Elm Street, Wes Craven's Deadly Friend is deadly bad.    Although it seems there was a lot of studio tinkering, I'm not sure the original vision was much better as it plays like a SyFy original.

The main houses were shot on Warner Brothers backlot....

First up is the Conway's house...

And next door is Samantha's house....

And across the street is Elvira's house, best known for its appearances in Growing Pains and Gremlins....

  1. The Elvira house is different from the Growing Pains house / Mrs. Deagle house from Gremlins.

When you turn down that street, the Growing Pains / Gremlins house is the first house on the right. Elvira's house is the last house on the left, just around that little curve.

  3. This was great I really need to go to those places and reinacting the scenes in my Samantha costume.
