One of my favorite books was Bret Easton Ellis' Rules Of Attraction which was made into a film in 2002. The movie follows the text pretty faithfully and I was impressed that they were able to capture the tone. I soon became a huge fan of James Van Der Beek after seeing his work here as well. Although the campus was set back east, it was shot in Redlands, California...
