My Commodore 64 never did the things Matthew Broderick's computer did back in the day.... Here are some locations from WarGames.   First up, his house located in Los Angeles...

American Dreamer (1984)

Besides Poltergeist, this is my favorite Jobeth Williams film.  (I don't see her enough nowadays.)   Although much of the film takes place in Paris, it starts out with her family house, which is located in Long Beach.   Two years later, this house will become better known as Ferris Bueller's home...
