Star Trek (2009)

Check out the new location page for Star Trek on Set-Jetter.com

The Star Trek reboot is a great film by one of my favorite directors JJ Abrams.  First up is the location of a few exterior Vulcan scenes at Vasquez Rocks.   This unique looking area has been in hundreds of productions and is pretty recognizable, the pictures don't do it justice.  Thanks, Dom, for going up with me to the desert to visit here!

FYI, the same area was used as Vulcan in Star Trek IV....

Some of the interior Vulcan scenes were shot at a chapel in Whittier, California.  This chapel was also heavily featured in True Blood.

And Northridge college which is also heavily used by Hollywood productions, most notably in Sky High....

And Kirk himself and me looking awful at Sundance ...
