    Unfortunately, the motel is not the same one from the original movie.It has been rebuilt a couple of times.

      Sorry, I wasn't trying to imply this was the original motel. I know it wasn't fully rebuilt until 1985.

    It's not even the original house, nor the original location on the backlot.
