Psycho III (1986)

These are photos taken of the Psycho house and Bates Motel in the summer of 1985.  They were in the middle of filming Psycho III at the time, so this was the closest we could get.  Interesting to see how empty it was out there at the time... and yes, those are my lovely typed and taped on labels!

The Color Purple (1985)

These are not so much location pictures, but behind the scenes at Universal Studios in the summer of 1985.  We were lucky enough to catch a lot of the extras on break and some came over and talked to us on the tour.

Superman II (1980)

These photos were actually taken in 1986 on a family vacation in Niagara Falls.   As I was a HUGE Superman fan at the time, I was giddy to be at some of the locations used in the movie.

This was the "hotel" where Lois & Clark stayed at....

The hot dog stand was here....

Superman saved an idiot boy from the falls and brought him back to safety here...
