Many fans regard this as one of the worst of the series, and while it's not a favorite of mine, I liked a lot of the ideas and atmosphere they created...

Not a whole lot of locations for this one.   The steps the asylum appear to be the Janss Steps at UCLA....

For Springwood High, they returned to Venice High School....

The exterior of the Crave Inn is not really shown and is not in the same area as the previous movie.  This time it's located in Culver City on the street leading to the famous Culver hotel....
