Teenagers From Outer Space (1959)

Check out the all new TEENAGERS FROM OUTER SPACE page at Set-Jetter.com.

My favorite episode of Mystery Science Theater 3000 has always been Teenagers From Outer Space.  It wasn't until my last viewing that I thought about trying to track down some of the locations used in the film.  Some were tough to find, but all are mostly still here.

First up is the gas station, which of course has gone through quite a bit of renovation, however the house next to it is mostly the same...

Betty's house is one of the few houses on this Hollywood block which is still standing....

I had to get  a shot of the pretty wild woman who lives there and was kind enough to let me go in the back...

Alice's house is a filming location staple seen in  Rebel Without A Cause, Secret Admirer, and more...

The "city hall" is right off Sunset Boulevard...

  2. You did a great job showing all of the main then and now location shots of where "Teenagers from Outer Space" was filmed. It was fun seeing how the locations have changed over these many years since it was filmed. Say what you will about this little low-budget movie, it was both fun and honest as the director's sincere first attempt to make a science fiction movie. It seems to get better on each viewing.
