One Dark Night (1982)

Check out the all new page of ONE DARK NIGHT at SET-JETTER.COM

One Dark Night has been a fan favorite for many.  I've been to a few of the cemetery locations before, but tracked down a couple other locales on my latest trip.

First up is the Angelus Rosedale Cemetery which is used as the entrance....

Next up, and just down the street, is the tire shop seen in a flashback....

Easily the scariest movie location I've done in a while was this apartment building.  Some resident chased me down the street!

I couldn't get into the school, but here are a some shots of it....

The Santa Monica pier has changed quite a bit since this film.  Here are some shots of it from as close as I could get from that decade of one of my visits....

The McKenna's house.....

Carol's house in the film....

The mausoleum itself is at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery...

  2. There's a guy who did a locations video for this movie that I like better than just these pictures.

  4. It didn't print my entire comment. Sorry about that. I wrote more. I said that it was only because it was video thought but your photos show way more locations than in the video. I am sort of undecided which I like better as they are different forms. Your photos show pretty much each scene, minus sets. The video I think only shows 3 locations. I can't find it now. It was on YouTube. Anyway sorry about that.

    1. Understood, I was trying to be smarty-assy in my comment. :)

I don't do videos too often, but my new website does get more screen-shot specific as I port them over: www.Set-Jetter.com

  5. Hey,I love this movie too.Great pix. It's such an obscure movie, yet really has its fans which most likely are the people who saw it in theaters back in the day(me.) I read these comments.I don't know what happened with the videos being up on youtube, but I found one version of it on vidme.I don't know if it is a re-up or same person or why they were taken off youtube. He had two versions of it.I wish both versions were there. Anyway, https://vid.me/search?q=one+dark+night+locations
