Exorcist III (1990)

A favorite, underrated sequel, Exorcist III is a great thriller with a lot of good linkage to the original Exorcist story.   William Peter Blatty chose many of the same Georgetown locations as the original film.

The first opening shots show Father Dyer crossing the infamous street next to the McNeil house...

Where he looks down at the infamous steps....

The pre-title sequence and several scenes take place in a church that is located a couple blocks from the original Exorcist house.

During the title sequence, the camera floats down the street, past the hospital, past the original house and to the infamous stairs.

The hospital is actually situated between the church and McNeil house.  Several of their entrances are used.

This entrance is on the other side of the hospital....

And this entrance is near the side of the same building...

Again, Healy Hall at Georgetown University makes several appearances...

Inside Healy Hall is also used....

 LOVE this moment:

And behind Healy Hall is the church and buildings, also used in the original film....

Here is the spot where Father Dyer waits for Lt. Kinderman to go to a movie....

And here is a drive spot where Nurse X takes a cab to the Kinderman house...
