Check out the all new Nightmare on Elm Street page on Set-Jetter.com!
I've been to Nancy's house and other Elm Street locations too many times to count (see previous Nightmare on Elm Street locations) but never got a chance to see Tina's house until this trip!
Located in Venice, it has not changed much in the past 25 years...
No Freddy in the alley, but a friendly cat!
I've been to this location before, but not at night! This library stood in for the police station in the movie and was a key moment during one of Nancy's first nightmares when she's Freddy attacking her friend in jail...
A visit to the Elm Street cemetery (where Nancy wears bright blue to the funeral!).
And no trip to LA would be complete without a visit to the Nancy and Glenn's house on Elm Street...
love your blog! excellent page! finally someone appreciate movie locations. hey quick question why dont you have the whole door? why did they gave you only the half? how do you know its the original? i been to the nightmare houses 1000s of times first back in may 2004 and the last after thanksgiving 2009 i LOVE the house! they filmed some scenes from halloween inside the house
ReplyDeleteI think he said he only had the upper-half for moving purposes. He was a friend with a crew member who had given him various items from the set. I re-verified it was the original after examining close-ups from the film and it is it!
ReplyDeleteya it looks like its the original. never get rid of it!. got a challenge for ya, u kno in the scene where nancys mom takes her to the clinic, wheres that clinic? i never seen anythin bout it
ReplyDeleteanother question did they filmed inside the glen's house? or was it another house on the st?
ReplyDeleteI believe they only filmed a couple things in there... the parents receiving Nancy's call, and the reverse of Glenn talking on the phone to her right before he gets it.
ReplyDeletei always wondered why didnt they just choose the house in front of nancys u know the yellow one? have you seen the movie christine 1983? i love that movie and they filmed on N.genesee too
ReplyDeletethanks for the memories. Is this cemetery Forest Lawn?
