Nurse Jackie

One of the two best shows on Showtime right now, Nurse Jackie!   The "All Saints Hospital" is actually a college in Manhattan...

Screenshot from the show....

The across the street apartments...

And me and Nurse Jackie herself...

Special thanks to Cary Granite of the NYC British Film & Telly Club and Astoria Movie Club for taking these pictures of the Nurse Jackie set which also uses the Sinatra High School for the Arts as an exterior location:

The Cosby Show

Just a few doors down from the Wait Until Dark apartment is the "home" of the Cosby Show family...

Friends

Here is the "Friends" building.... and yes, smaller than you would think....

And actually down the street is the theatre where Joey used to act in horrible productions...

Wait Until Dark (1967)

The classic Wait Until Dark featured Audrey Hepburn living in this apartment....

Will & Grace

As for many "New York" shows, they are all shot in LA but use establishing shots from actual NY locations.  Here is Grade Adler's building from Will & Grace...

And on the same trip, here is Sean Hayes who we saw in Promises, Promises....

30 Rock

Ok, this is an easy one really since everyone's been to Rockefeller Center, but here it is anyways...

And some people who have shown up on the show...
Rachel Dratch

Cheyenne Jackson!

Ghostbusters (1984)

Ahhh... New York... here are some location shots from New York.

Most recently, here is my visit to the exterior used for the firehouse...

Sigourney Weaver's apartment building....

And from a couple winters ago, the New York library....

And waaaaay back when, here is my when I was 18 and met Harold Ramis...

Twister (1996)

Check out the all new Twister page on Set-Jetter.com!

These are actually my sister's photos on a recent work trip through Iowa.  This is the location of the finale of the film where the barn blew apart and Bill Paxton and Helen Hunt survived by simply belting themselves to a pipe and wishing away any debris from shredding them.   Sadly, the house looks the same as it did in the movie, but at one time, the owners had fixed it up nice and gave tours.   Seemingly abandoned now, it looks just as it did over a decade ago.
