Although I think Cabin In The Woods would have been better with Joss Whedon in the director's chair, I did like a lot of the ideas and setup. I tracked down a couple of locations while in Vancouver....

The underground facility is an above-ground building used in a few films, most recognizably in Rise of the Planet of the Apes. They covered up the windows to give the underground illusion....
