Parks & Rec (new & revisited)

Consistently funny, Parks & Rec has always been a favorite of mine.   The night before I left for LA for my annual Halloween visit, I noticed that many locations in the episode looked very familiar.  Sure enough, they shot it at the Holiday Inn towers in Burbank where I usually stay.

The carpet was a dead giveaway.....

Workaholics

Someone had requested me to find the house used in Workaholics, a show on Comedy Central.  Until that time, I had not seen the series, but it's actually pretty funny.   Apparently the cast actually lived there the first season, but have since moved out.   The house is located at 15020 Hamlin up in Van Nuys, and the entire street has been used for various locations and other houses in the series.

UPDATE:  Thanks to a fan's tip, I stopped by one of the office building used in the show; a place I have drove by literally hundreds of times!
